Directions for the North Saint Paul History Cruze 2022
The Cruze starts at 6:00 pm. That is when the Main Street (7th Ave East) is closed to thru traffic. Only Classic cars are permitted to enter. At that time the road is converted to an east bound traffic flow.
The Show Lot is located on the southeast corner of the intersection of Charles Ave and 7th Ave East, North Saint Paul MN, 55109. Directions provided below.
We expect a great turnout with almost thirty Members/cars registered. If you want to help park cars, please be there at 4:30pm.
- 1. From your origination location proceed to North Saint Paul MN 55109 on Hiway 36.
- 2. If heading from the east on Hiway 36 exit on McKnight Rd and take a left heading South. Cross under Hiway 36 and proceed to the stop lights on 7th Ave East. Approximately 0.3 miles.
- 3. If heading from the west on Hiway 36 exit on McKnight Rd and take a right heading South and proceed to the stop lights on 7th Ave East. Approximately 0.3 miles.
- 4. Turn Left on 7th Ave East and proceed approximately 0.8 miles. The show lot is located on the intersection of Charles Ave and 7th Ave East on the east end of 7th Ave.
- 5. Entry is off of Charles Ave. There will be a MMGG member(s) to guide you in and park your car.

History Cruze History
The North St. Paul History Cruze started on a Friday night in 1996 with about 25 cars near the intersection of 7th Avenue and Margaret Street. It has grown and now draws 700 to 1,800 cars each week that park along a half-mile + stretch of 7th Avenue and fills many adjacent parking lots. The street is closed to other traffic for the night and a fair-like atmosphere prevails with street vendors, music, and food.
The Cruze runs each Friday night from early June to late September (6:00pm - 10:00pm) rain or shine. During the summer only six Friday nights are reserved for a "Car Club of the Night". This year the MMGG has been selected and reassigned September 9th.
The featured Club has a new reserved "premier" show-lot location. The lot is located on the east end of 7th Ave on the southeast corner of the intersection of 7th Ave and Charles Street. You enter the show-lot from Charles St.
The lot can hold up to 20+ cars so please contact me (Paul Lyon, plyon1962@gmail.com) or signup on the website “Events” section if you will be attending. The Main Street show-lot will open at 5:00pm. As in previous years I will need some help directing attendees into the show lot and help picking the top car of the night.
