Drive your MG Day City Tour

We will start in front of the Minnesota Transportation Building (395 John Ireland Blvd, Saint Paul MN). Bob Jensen and Paul Lyon will host the tour.
Driving instructions to be provided for a drive from the State Capitol along the historic homes on Summit Avenue to the lake Harriet Bandshell.
Summary
Starting at the Minnesota Transportation Building on John Ireland Blvd. near the south end of the State Capitol grounds. The start point is near the deck gun from the WWII Destroyer “Ward” (It fired the first shot taken by the United States in WWII in the waters outside Pearl Harbor). We will leave the John Ireland Blvd past the Cathedral of St. Paul and up to Summit Avenue and proceed west passing the stately homes on Summit, the governor's residence, U of St. Thomas until we reached East River Road.
Then proceed south on East River Road to Ford Parkway and cross the Mississippi river then west on Godfrey Parkway which turns into Minnehaha parkway.
Making a stop at Mel-O-Glaze Donuts at 28th Street (4800 S 28th Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55417). After our break, we will continue west on Minnehaha. At Stevens we will take a right for 1/2 block and left on Minnehaha and that ends at lake Harriet and take a right, we take that around the lake to the Bandstand Park.
