Afton to Scandia Club Drive and Picnic

Starting Time 2:30 

Due to the severe weather that is predicted on Saturday July 23^rd, the Afton to Scandia drive is changed to Sunday July 24^th. Starting at 2:30 pm in Afton MN at Velo du Nord Coffee shop 3291 St. Croix Trail S.

John will host the drive along the St. Croix River Valley. Crossing the St Croix River into Hudson proceed north along the river on the Wisconsin side. Then crossover the St. Croix and come back down on Hiway 95 or Olinda ending at John’s Hobby Farm in Scandia MN. for a BBQ. There is ample room to park with about four acres of wide-open grass to park our MGs. Ending the drive with a picnic at his farm. Driving directions will be handed out at the starting point.

p.s. For those who are looking for a full day of automotive fun, the VSCR group has invited MMGG members to an open house/car show on Jul 24^th at the 7 Vines Vineyard (101 hwy 96 East, Dellwood MN 55110). Car show parking will start at 10am. The drive form 7 Vines to the Velo du Nord Coffee shop in Afton is about a 35-minute drive.
