Fathers Day & rescheduled "Drive Your MGA / MG" drive
Saturday June 17th
Bob and Lorie Jensen are once again hosting this year’s “Drive Your MG Day” drive. You might remember that last year’s drive took us through the Twin Cities from the State Capitol in Saint Paul to the Harriet Bandshell in Minneapolis. This year’s drive will start at their home in Lake Elmo (2815 Manning Ave N Lake Elmo, MN 55042) proceeding north on selected country roads, the St Croix Scenic Byway, thru Franconia Township and crossing into historic City of St. Croix Falls.
The final destination is the Lions Park Main Shelter along the Saint Croix river. Maps will be provided at the start of the drive. The link below provides you with the driving map and instructions. In total the drive is about fifty miles from start to finish. Bob has recently driven the route to check the road conditions, and everything looks like a go.
The drive departs from Bob and Lorie’s home at 11am. (try to get there around by 10:45 to visit and driver instructions). We plan to arrive at the Lions Park shelter around noon. Bring your lunch and Bob will provide his world-famous baked beans as a side dish.
