Commemorative Air Force (CAF) Minnesota Wing
Photoshoot April 27th, 2024
The MMGG group has reserved Saturday April 27th for an exclusive photoshoot opportunity at the Commemorative Air Force (CAF). It has been three years since the MMGG reserved a date with B25J “Ms. Mitchell”.
Fleming Field is an active airfield with commercial and private aircraft coming and going all day. We have a four-hour frame (10:00 am to 2:00 pm). Each person/car will be assigned an approx. ten-to-twelve-minute time slot time slot. Participants are required to arrive 30 minutes or more prior to their time slot. Each person/car will be escorted on and off the tarmac by a CAF volunteer during their designated time slot.
This event requires pre-registration along with a participant fee. There are two options.
Option One, a fee of $35 that provides a personal ten-to-twelve-minute time slot with your car next to the vintage aircraft on the tarmac where you can take your own photos.
Option Two, a fee of $50 that provides a personal ten-to-twelve-minute time slot alongside the aircraft with photos taken of you and your car. The additional $15 is a donation to the MMGG and photos will be taken by volunteers Paul Lyon and Chris Cooper and will be sent to you after the photoshoot. This is recommended so you can enjoy your time with aviation history to the fullest.
I recommend that you come early as the CAF Minnesota Wing has a large aircraft and motor pool fleet. Plus, a unique museum of a collection of World War II artifacts on display.
