Not happy with fast parade laps…..
Curious to see what your car can do on the track with professional instruction?
This year June 9th we have another invite to the Gary Curtis Driving Experience. Strap in and get ready because the Gary Curtis Performance Driving Experience is here to teach you how to get the most out of your ride! After 26 years at the Brainerd International Raceway running the BIR Performance Driving School, Gary Curtis is bringing his Performance Driving Experience to Rosemount, MN.
Join other spirted drivers as Alejandro Sanchez of the Minnesota T register will be available to answer questions. Ask the right questions and he can help you understand how to feel the road to understand what your car is doing. For 12 years he was an instructor at BIR Performance Driving School, where he was also a co-lead instructor in EVOC and teen car control courses and the lead instructor in the anti-terrorist driving course. Alejandro also founded and runs a winter teen crash avoidance and an adult car control courses in Monticello, Minnesota. Lead instructor Alejandro Sanchez started road and rally racing in the 70s in Mexico. In the U.S. he has occasionally raced spec racer fords and Champ endurance races. Alejandro had an advanced driving school in Mexico teaching car control, police pursuit and anti-kidnapping maneuvers.
So you can show your car during the performance driving school day at the track. When the track goes cold, at noon, we’ll be allowed to lap the track at moderate speeds (no helmets needed).
And even if you cannot make this event this is a reminder to take out your LBC and find a road you like. Show it off and for bonus points call some other members in your area to meet for a coffee, ice cream, or refreshment.
Lunch will follow at Eagan Arms Public House.
4250 Lexington Ave S #111, Eagan, MN 55123
